The Las Vegas Raiders have an elite tight end in Darren Waller, but who will be Derek Carr’s favorite wide receiver in 2021?
Last season, the Las Vegas Raiders signed Nelson Agholor to a one-year, prove-it deal, and the veteran wide receiver certainly responded. Agholor played so well, becoming Derek Carr’s No. 1 target at wide receiver, that he is now a very rich man playing for the New England Patriots.
While Darren Waller will continue to be the Raiders’ best option in the passing game, and for good reason, as he is one of the elite tight ends in football, we will have to wait and see who becomes Carr’s favorite WR target this upcoming season. The team went out and got John Brown in free agency, and have two second-year wideout returning in Henry Ruggs III and Bryan Edwards, all three of them being solid options.
Of course, on third down, we know who Carr’s favorite wideout is, as Hunter Renfrow has been outstanding in that capacity since coming into the league. For this offense to really work in 2021, another wideout will have to step up, and the question is, who will that be?
Raiders have solid young talent at wide receiver

There is a lot of talent for Carr to choose from, including Zay Jones and Willie Snead, giving the team more depth at the position than they have had in a while.
The Raiders will have a brand new offensive line in 2021, something to keep an eye on, and their defense still has question marks heading into the 2021 NFL Draft. However, the skill position players are very good, boasting an elite tight end and running back, as well as good depth at wide receiver, and
