The Raiders cap off their eight-player 2021 NFL Draft with another safety, addressing one of the biggest issues on the team. As stated earlier, we still do not know exactly what the team is going to get from Johnathan Abram this upcoming season, but we do know that he has been working hard in the offseason to get ready.

At pick No. 200, their final pick in 2021, the Raiders add San Diego State star Tariq Thompson, who is listed as a safety and can also come up and play the slot. Also, he is a kid who is not afraid to come up and make a big hit, so getting him in the seventh round would be an excellent depth play at both nickel and safety for the Silver and Black.
