Where would Las Vegas Raiders 2020 picks be selected in the 2021 NFL Draft?

Raiders 2020 third-round picks

  • Lynn Bowden Jr.: Round 3, Pick 80
  • 2021: Fourth Round

It is hard to tell exactly where Bowden would go if he was in this draft because of his vast skill set. Bowden never played a snap for the Raiders, but once the Dolphins started to give him playing time, he performed well.

I feel like round 3 may have been a bit early for Bowden, and I am not sure if any other team would have taken him here.

I’d say Bowden should have been closer to a fourth-round pick in 2020, and I’ll say the same for 2021. You cannot really compare him to the WRs or RBs in this draft because he is not used like any other player.

  • Bryan Edwards: Round 3, Pick 81
  • 2021: Early Third-Round Pick

Bryan Edwards is a bit easier to compare to other players than Bowden Jr considering he actually just plays one position. Edwards did not have the rookie season he was expected to, but there were glimpses of the talent he showed in college, and if healthy, he is expected to be a big-time contributor in 2021.

Both the 2020 and 2021 drafts are wide receiver heavy to the point where wideouts like Elijah Moore has projections of going in the first round or late in the second. If Bryan Edwards would have entered the 2021 draft, I believe he could have been an early third-round pick.

  • Tanner Muse: Round 3, Pick 100
  • 2021: Late Fourth, Early Fifth-Round Pick

Tanner Muse is hard to say much about considering he has not played for the Raiders yet. I was not very familiar with Muse when Las Vegas drafted him, and it seemed like somewhat of a strange pick at the time.

Muse does have the speed the team was looking for at linebacker, but it was clear when he got to camp that he was not ready to make an immediate impact, and would likely be used as a special teams player. Unfortunately, I think most NFL GMs knew this coming in, and once again, the Raiders reached. I believe in 2021, Muse likely would have been a late fourth-round pick or early fifth-round pick.
