The Las Vegas Raiders’ opponents have been determined for the 2021 season and here are the games that should be featured in primetime matchups.

Last year, the Las Vegas Raiders were scheduled to play in five primetime matchups, two divisional games against Kansas City and Los Angeles, one AFC battle with Miami, and two interconference battles against legendary quarterbacks in New Orleans and Tampa Bay. The Raiders were slated to play twice on Sunday Night Football, once on Monday Night Football, once on Thursday Night Football, and the Miami was TBD at the start of the season.

The Tampa Bay matchup was eventually rescheduled to a Sunday afternoon matchup due to COVID issues with the Raiders, and the epic Week 16 game against the Dolphins was played on a Saturday night during the Christmas holiday period. After an 8-8 season, where the Raiders had a dynamic offense and a poor defense, we can expect the NFL to give them about the same amount of primetime games in 2021.

The Raiders have plenty of marketable faces, most notable head coach Jon Gruden, and they have one of the largest fanbases in the NFL so primetime is perfect for a team that has high expectations for 2021. With games lined up against the AFC North and NFC East along with their usual division games, we can expect to see the Raiders under the bright lights several times.

Here are the games that the NFL needs to make sure are on primetime for the 2021 season.
