Las Vegas Raiders: Games that should be in primetime in 2021

Pittsburgh Steelers at Heinz Field – Pittsburgh, PA

The Pittsburgh Steelers looked like one of the best teams in the NFL early on as they rampaged their way to a 10-0 record but the cracks started to show and they fell apart in the postseason against a division rival in the Cleveland Browns. Pittsburgh still has tons of talent and big names in Ben Roethlisberger and Juju Smith-Schuster is one of the most marketable players in the NFL.

The Steelers may not be quite as good in 2021 as they were in 2020 but with Mike Tomlin at the helm they will always be a competitive team and as previously mentioned, they have plenty of talent on both sides of the ball. The Raiders-Steelers rivalry is among the fiercest non-division rivals in league history as the two teams started their feud with legendary battles in the 1970s as they battled for supremacy in the AFC.

Recently the rivalry has cooled in importance but the matchups are always exciting with the Raiders seeming to always win at home regardless of their record but falling short in Pittsburgh. The Raiders are 4-0 in home matchups but just 1-5 at Pittsburgh in matchups dating back to the year 2000.

Any time these two titans of the AFC meet it should be under the bright lights as so many of their greatest battles took place when it counted most in the postseason. The Steelers and Raiders have a historic rivalry that dates back to the 1970s and the next chapter of this feud needs to be on primetime at Heinz Field.
