It is no big secret that the Raiders need help at offensive tackle, this after trading away Trent Brown to the New England Patriots. While Brown only played in half the games he was eligible for with the Raiders, he was dominant when he was in the lineup, and not having him on the roster hurts this Las Vegas offensive line.

Still, this is a 2021 draft class that has a lot of talent at the offensive tackle spot, and they could still get an elite prospect here at No. 48 overall. Jalen Mayfield from the University of Michigan is a player that some have mocked into the first round, but if he is still available here, he has the skills to start right away in Las Vegas.

Mayfield would be joining a tackle spot led by Kolton Miller, who was given a massive new contract this offseason. Mayfield and Miller would be an excellent young duo at the tackle position for years to come and based on his work against elite talent in the Big Ten, he would be an exciting addition to the roster.
