Jaylen Twyman. 121. player. 866. . DL. Panthers

Jaylen Twyman is a prospect that I like a lot, and during the simulation, I could not click on his name fast enough. Sure, the Raiders have brought in talent along the defensive line this year in free agency, but based on Twyman’s strength, versatility, and production, he would be a tremendous, young addition to this defensive line.

Twyman has a perfect skill set for what Gus Bradley likes to do on the defensive side of the ball, as he has the ability to get after the quarterback from the inside, or out. The Raiders did take fliers on multiple defensive tackles this offseason and do return Maurice Hurst and Johnathan Hankins, but Twyman would be a good long-term play for this defense.

Twyman sat out the 2020 college football season, but the last time he was on the field for Pitt, he was racking up 10.5 sacks and making plenty of plays in the backfield. He had 12 tackles for a loss, two passes defended, and while he may be a bit under-sized, he makes up for it with a tremendous motor and ability to get upfield.
