Las Vegas Raiders: 3 potential first-round prospects who could fall to No. 48

Landon Dickerson – IOL, Alabama

In terms of talent, Landon Dickerson is a first-round level player.

A powerful player with imposing size on the interior, Dickerson is a guy with a ton of experience and position versatility. He’s the type of player you could see Jon Gruden loving, and he plays for Alabama, which might be his top qualification.

Unfortunately, the injuries are beginning to pile up for Dickerson at such a young age. He has hurt throughout his three years at Florida State, and after playing two straight seasons at Alabama, he suffered a torn ACL during the SEC championship last December.

Medicals will be huge for Dickerson, and there have already been positive signs as NFL’s Daniel Jeremiah reported things are looking well. He even mocked him in the first round.

However, that just seems a bit too risky for the first round. Plus, he plays a position that is not highly valuable, so to take that chance early doesn’t make a ton of sense. However, the high end of what Dickerson can be when healthy helps any team, and in the second round, it is just too enticing to pass up.
