The Las Vegas Raiders got into the 2021 NFL Draft with needs on both sides of the ball, and we rank the top-3 position groups.
Looking at the Las Vegas Raiders’ current roster as we inch closer to the 2021 NFL Draft, it is clear that they need help on both sides of the ball. Las Vegas has done a nice job bolstering their defensive line, and they brought back some key players to the fold, but overall, there is work left to be done.
Some position groups are set, including wide receiver, tight end, and running back, all crucial to the team’s success on offense this year. On defense, the Raiders seem to be solid at linebacker, though if Micah Parsons falls to them at No. 17 they should take him, and the defensive line certainly got better, especially on the edge with Yannick Ngakoue.
Outside of that, there are holes to fill, including these three position groups that are the most pressing of needs for the Raiders this April. The Raiders have improved in the win column the last two years, but have struggled to play consistent football down the stretch, making this offseason the most important of Jon Gruden’s tenure since returning.
Here are the three biggest draft needs for the Raiders heading into the 2021 NFL Draft.
