The Las Vegas Raiders have been linked with any number of offensive tackles in this class not named Penei Sewell or Rashawn Slater who are both projected to be gone well before the 17th pick. So with the 17th pick, this mock draft has the Raiders selecting Teven Jenkins out of Oklahoma State.

With Trent Brown’s departure back to New England, the Raiders currently have Brandon Parker or Denzelle Good penciled in as the starter at right tackle. Parker has struggled to live up to this third-round selection and Good was well, good, in spot duty at right tackle but he excels as a guard. This leaves the Raiders with a need at right tackle and Teven Jenkins can fill that straight away.

Blessed with tremendous size at 6-6, 320lbs, the former Oklahoma State Cowboy has the athleticism and strength necessary to play tackle at the next level. Jenkins ran an impressive 4.96 in the 40, a 4.66 in the 20-yard shuttle, and posted a 32.5-inch vertical leap. He impressed in the bench press as well by putting up 36 reps which would have been third overall at the 2020 NFL Combine.

Measurables aside, Jenkins has the experience and pedigree as well, having started every game for the Cowboys since 2018 at both left and right tackle. He was named honorable mention All-Big 12 twice before being named to the First-Team in 2020. The Raiders need a right tackle and Jenkins is an excellent fit due to his size, strength, athleticism, and overall talent.
