2021 NFL Draft: Las Vegas Raiders all-offense 3-round mock draft

. IOL. Las Vegas Raiders. Quinn Meinerz. 79. player. 28

With the 79th pick of the 2021 NFL Draft, the Raiders select the darling of the Senior Bowl and viral sensation Quinn Meinerz out of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. The NCAA Division III stud went viral with his appearance at the Senior Bowl as he dominated the competition while rocking a half-shirt Ezekiel Elliott style.

Once scouts were done laughing at his appearance, they saw how dominant Meinerz in all of the drills at the Senior Bowl and he began to shoot up draft boards. Teams flocked to his pro day where he measured in at 6-3, 320lbs, and a 4.86 second 40. He also boasted a 32-inch vertical leap and when he did the bench press after his broken hand healed, he put up 33 reps to show off his strength.

There are several successful offensive lineman from the small school or Division III ranks including Denzelle Good who finished his career at tiny Mars Hill University after transferring from North Carolina State. If you are good enough to play in the NFL then teams will find you and Quinn Meinerz might be the next stud lineman from the lower divisions in college football.

The Raiders will be able to bring him along slowly and use him for depth at either of the guard positions or center and can be viewed as the long-term successor, along with John Simpson, to Richie Incognito. Depth on the offensive line is key and a player like Meinerz who has stolen the headlines could fit right in at the NFL level.
