The Raiders made a solid move recently, as they brought in Karl Joseph to team with Johnathan Abram at the safety position. A former first-round selection of the franchise, many fans were upset when KuJo left following the 2019 NFL season, and now that he is back, the safety position has much more depth than it did a few weeks ago.

Still, Abram is a question mark, as he has been inconsistent the first two years of his NFL career due to injuries, and some head-scratching play. The Raiders are by no means set at the safety spot, and if Richie Grant is still available at No. 79 overall, they would be wise to make him the selection here.

Grant has tremendous coverage skills, and plays with a ballhawk mentality, making him a solid complement to the hard-hitting styles of Joseph and Abram. Las Vegas also has Jeff Heath returning in 2021, so by selecting Grant here, the safety position is loaded with depth and talent.
