The Las Vegas Raiders still have holes to fill heading into the 2021 NFL Draft, and here are the three best-case scenario picks at No. 17 overall.

The Las Vegas Raiders head into the 2021 NFL Draft with issues on both sides of the ball, and with only one first-round pick, they cannot afford to get it wrong on April 29. While the first round of any draft is a crapshoot, we kind of know who will still be available when they make their first pick, but it is anybody’s guess how things will shake out.

With that said, let us look at the three best-case scenarios for the Raiders at pick No. 17, though these three selections may be a pipedream.

3. Micah Parsons, LB, Penn State

Recently, we have seen a bunch of 2021 NFL Mock Drafts that have been linking Penn State star linebacker Micah Parsons to the Las Vegas Raiders. Parsons is widely considered the top linebacker in this draft class, and that is certainly a position group that the Raiders have had issues within recent memory.

The Athletic’s Vic Tafur recently stated that he felt the Raiders would pass on guys who opted out in 2020, and Parsons fits inside that category. However, he is an elite talent, and while linebacker may not be the biggest question mark on this Raiders defense, can they really afford to pass on a guy who is this good if he happens to fall to them at No. 17 overall?
