Las Vegas Raiders: Ten 2021 NFL Draft Sleepers to know
Walker Little: Tackle, Stanford
- Consensus Ranking: #92
It wasn’t that long ago that Walker Little was a projected first-round pick after showing a ton of promise in his 2018 sophomore season. However, an injury early in 2019 and his decision to opt-out of the 2020 season has him a borderline 100 pick, according to the consensus.
Little will be one of the tougher evaluations in the 2021 class because it is challenging to evaluate skill level given his lack of reps. But he has the physical ability, as shown by the numbers he posted during his pro day. A 7.44 three-cone (88th percentile), 4.59 short shuttle (80th percentile), and a 111” broad jump (83rd percentile).
A five-star recruit and the #1 tackle in the 2017 class, Little was the first freshman to start at left tackle for Stanford since 2000. When on the field, he lived up to the lofty expectations set before him, and if the Raiders can snag him in the third round, they could be getting an elite left tackle.
Little has the feet and explosiveness to be a great pass protector in the NFL, and with similar size to Kolton Miller, the Raiders could have two massive bookend tackles.
