Las Vegas Raiders: Ten 2021 NFL Draft Sleepers to know

Dayo Odeyingbo: Edge, Vanderbilt

  • Consensus Ranking: #102

When it comes to versatility along the defensive line, Vanderbilt’s Dayo Odeyingbo is the prospect that should come to mind.

If he wasn’t on such an awful team, we might have heard Odeyingbo’s name far more often during the season from draft analysts. He has tweener size at 6’5, 275lbs, but a quick get-off and relentless physicality allow him to succeed on the edge and the interior.

He may not have even been on a list like this in most cases, but torn Achillies during the draft process sadly is dropping his stock. But if I were the Raiders, I would take an earnest look at him in the fourth or fifth round. He will need a redshirt year to heal, but if Odeyingbo is healthy, he’s got the skill to be an impact starter in the league.

For a team like the Raiders that have struggled to pressure the quarterback, especially on the interior, he could be a tremendous get.
