Trading up in the draft is not something the Las Vegas Raiders have done often over the last twenty years, but if they were to do so this year, who could they target?

I do not believe the Las Vegas Raiders will trade up for anyone, and if they do trade up from pick 17, I believe the furthest they could move up would be to pick 14. The Raiders do not have enough capital to get too far, but if one of these players starts to fall, and the Raiders really want them, they could make a move.

Jaycee Horn, CB, South Carolina

With Patrick Surtain as the CB1 of the draft and the injury issues of Caleb Farley, Jaycee Horn has emerged to be considered as the CB2 of the draft by most people. Jaycee Horn will more than likely be selected in the top-12 of the draft, but if one of the teams that badly need a corner choose to select Farley over Horn, the Raiders should consider trading up a couple of spots to select him.

Although the Raiders did select a corner in the first round last season, it was a bit of a reach, and it even sounded like Mayock knew that. Damon Arnette is not a first-round talent, and the Raiders cornerback group has been one of their weakest positions for years, a spot they have not upgraded this offseason.

Jaycee Horn could make an immediate impact on the secondary and defense, as pairing him with Trayvon Mullen could create one of the best young groups in the league, while moving Arnette to the slot.
