2021 NFL Draft: 3 players the Las Vegas Raiders should trade up for

Micah Parsons, LB, Penn State

A lot of mock drafts have the Raiders selecting Parsons at pick 17 anyway, but I honestly do not see how he could fall this far. Parsons in no doubt the best linebacker in this class, and he could easily go in the top ten.

If Parsons does fall anywhere near pick 17, another team will either draft him, or trade up to select him. This is a guy who is going to be a three-down linebacker at the next level, and despite some issues with his past, him falling as far as some mock drafts have him is almost laughable.

If Parsons falls past pick 13, I would not mind the Raiders giving up a third round pick to move up a couple of spots to make sure they get their guy. Linebacker is another position that the Raiders have struggled at for years, and last year was not different. Micah Parsons is the type of player that could completely turn a defense around, and the Raiders should do whatever they can to get him.
