2021 NFL Draft: 4 Players the Las Vegas Raiders could reach for at No. 17

Samuel Cosmi, OT, Texas

Samuel Cosmi is by no means a bad player, and he plays a position that the Raiders could surely select in the first round, but the tackle class is so deep that Cosmi likely will not go in the first round. Since trading away Trent Brown, the Raiders are left with a gaping hole at right tackle, and that certainly could be the way to go at pick No. 17.

Cosmi was a left tackle for Texas last year and played great, but if the Raiders were to take a tackle here, you would assume they look toward Teven Jenkins, a player that has proven to play right tackle, Alijah Vera Tucker, a player who can play both on the inside and outside, or even Christian Darrisaw if he falls that far.

With that being said, the Raiders make more surprising picks and reaches than any team in the NFL, so there is a chance that if they are looking at selecting a tackle, it could be Cosmi. In the second round, Cosmi is a steal, but at No. 17, you can be sure Raider Nation will have something to say about that pick.
