Sadarius Hutcherson could compete with Lester Cotton Sr. for a reserve role and stick as a long-term backup at multiple positions.
At South Carolina, Hutcherson spent significant time at left guard, right guard and left tackle. He has intriguing versatility that could pay dividends if the Raiders struggle with injuries in the trenches. The three-year full-time starter became a team captain in 2020.

Writer’s Pick: LB Paddy Fisher, Northwestern
Paddy Fisher has four years of experience at middle linebacker. In 2017, he became the centerpiece of Northwestern’s defense and usually found his way to the ball.
As a collegian, Fisher recorded 401 tackles, 24.5 for loss, four interceptions, 10 pass breakups and two sacks.
If Gus Bradley ever needs someone to step up in place of Nick Kwiatkoski, Fisher should be up for the challenge. He has a great deal of experience, which would allow him to handle an expanded role under short notice.
