2021 NFL Draft: 3 Bold predictions for the Las Vegas Raiders on Day 2

No. 1: Raiders go offensive line on Day 2

Although the Las Vegas Raiders selected an offensive lineman with the No. 17 overall pick in the first round, could it be possible that they spend another pick on that position group on Day 2. Mike Mayock has stated that Alex Leatherwood is going to be the starting right tackle for the Raiders on Day 1, filling the hole left by Trent Brown, but with how depleted the offensive line was at times last season, could Gruden want another lineman in the fold.

Hopefully, if the Raiders do decide to bring in another offensive lineman, it is on Day 3, where they hold a fourth, two fifths, and a sixth. They need to focus these three picks on Friday night on the defensive side of the ball, bolstering the secondary, and possibly even bringing in some talent along the interior of the defensive line.

Bold predictions are just what they say they are, bold, so I am not advocating for Gruden and Mayock to do any of these three things. By the end of tonight’s third round, we should have holes filled on our roster, not more depth at position groups that already are strong.
