2021 NFL Draft: Top-5 targets for the Las Vegas Raiders on Day 2

Elijah Molden, CB, Washington

After cutting Lamarcus Joyner, who disappointed during his time in the Silver and Black, Las Vegas needs to find a replacement at the nickel corner. Sure, Las Vegas signed Rasul Douglas, and still have Amik Robertson, but Douglas is solid at best and Robertson still needs time to grow before he can take a starting job.

Elijah Molden is easily one of, if not the best, nickel corner in this draft class. He has fantastic instincts that allow him to excel in coverage and he has shown an exceptional willingness to tackle, which is always an upside when it comes to the cornerback position.

Throwing a stud like Molden into the mix with Damon Arnette and Travon Mullen would make Las Vegas’ secondary much more talented and diverse. Remember, the Raiders have not addressed cornerback in a big way at all this offseason, and by using a Day 2 pick on Molden, they could get an immediate starter.
