The Las Vegas Raiders went all defense with their three selections on Day 2, and on Saturday, they go into the final four rounds with four more picks.

There is only one day left of the 2021 NFL Draft, and after a questionable selection at No. 17 overall on Friday night, the Las Vegas Raiders eased the minds of the fan base with a tremendous haul on Saturday. With one second-round pick, and two in the third, the Raiders went all-defense, bringing in two defensive backs and an edge rusher.

Their first move came at No. 43, as the Raiders traded up from pick No. 48 to take TCU safety Trevon Moehrig. To be honest, Moehrig was the best safety in this draft class in my opinion, and while he ended up being the third taken, he is perfect for Gus Bradley’s defense.

In the third round, with back-to-back picks, Las Vegas then selected Malcolm Koonce, the best Buffalo player since Khalil Mack, at No. 79, before picking a hybrid-type player in Divine Deablo at 80. Both players fill a void on this defense, as it was obvious Mayock wanted to bolster that side of the ball Friday night.

Here is how you can watch all of the action Saturday:

What: 2021 NFL Draft, Round 3

When: Saturday, May 1, 2021

Time: 9 AM PT

Where: Cleveland, Ohio

Television Station: ABC, ESPN, NFL Network

Live Stream: FuboTV

To move up to No. 43, the Raiders traded away their fourth-round pick, so they will not pick until selection No. 162 in the fifth round. They will pick twice in the fifth round, once in the sixth, and twice in the seventh, as they look to round out their roster heading into the summer months.

The Raiders wrapped up Day 2 by selecting defensive back Divine Deablo, who could end up being a hybrid-type player at the next level. Overall, Las Vegas did a tremendous job filling voids on their roster with their haul on Friday night, and will look to finish the job across the final four rounds on Saturday afternoon.
