Las Vegas Raiders: Top free agency targets post-2021 NFL Draft

Casey Hayward, CB

If the Sherman situation doesn’t work out, then Las Vegas should consider bringing on former Los Angeles Charger Casey Hayward. Bradley and Hayward are quite familiar with each other, as  Bradley coached Hayward during his time in Los Angeles with the Chargers.

Much like Sherman, Hayward brings a veteran presence to a young secondary. He is also familiar with Bradley’s scheme, which could make Bradley a bit more comfortable with his new players and new team.

Hayward may not be one of the best in the league anymore, but he still has the ability to be a trustworthy difference-maker on a defense that can use all of the help that it can get. There are a lot of question marks in terms of the cornerback room for the Raiders, and Hayward would be a guy that Bradley knows he can count on.
