Las Vegas Raiders: An early look at the 2021 starting lineups

Offense

Honestly, the only real difference that we will see on this offense is the revamped offensive line. This new offensive line group, though, has the potential to make or break the 2021 season. The youngsters, Andre James, and rookie Alex Leatherwood will be asked to step in on day one and make an impact.

With these two guys being so young, expect there to be some growing pains in the first few games, especially with James learning how to make in-game adjustments and callouts.

If they were able to get stronger and healthier in the offseason, expect Henry Ruggs III and Bryan Edwards to get slated in as wide receivers one and two. In the slot, offseason acquisition John Brown and the third-down aficionado, Hunter Renfrow, will likely share snaps.

Of course, Darren Waller will get the start at tight end, but Foster Moreau should also see more playing time now that Jason Witten has retired again. Also, be ready for Kenyan Drake, who Gruden handed a fat paycheck, to be featured heavily in the passing attack.

With all of this in mind, here is a look at the Las Vegas starters by position:

  • QB: Derek Carr
  • FB: Alec Ingold
  • RB: Josh Jacobs, Kenyan Drake
  • WR: Henry Ruggs III, Bryan Edwards, John Brown, Hunter Renfrow
  • TE: Darren Waller, Foster Moreau
  • OT: Kolton Miller, Alex Leatherwood
  • OG: Richie Incognito, Denzelle Good
  • C: Andre James
