Las Vegas Raiders: 2021 Post-draft 53 man roster prediction

Offensive Line: Kolton Miller, Richie Incognito, Andre James, Denzelle Good, Alex Leatherwood, Brandon Parker, John Simpson, Nick Martin, Jared Jones-Smith

After a major offseason reshuffle on the offensive line, the Raiders appear to be set at the position group after drafting Alex Leatherwood 17th overall in the 2021 NFL Draft. Leatherwood should slot in at right tackle as the day one starter and alongside him at right guard will be Denzelle Good who played very well last season in relief of Trent Brown and Richie Incognito.

At center, we have Andre James who just received a big contract and at LG and LT we have Richie Incognito and Kolton Miller. Incognito is the wild card in this scenario because of his age and recent injuries but if the offseason reports are to be believed then he is in great shape and ready to go.

Miller at LT is the standout player on the offensive line and the Raiders will hope that he lives up to his big-time extension and becomes a pro bowl level player.

Beyond the starters, we have Brandon Parker who can play either tackle position, and Jared Jones-Smith who Mike Mayock spoke highly of in a pre-draft press conference. Nick Martin was a 4-year starter at center with the Texans before coming to Las Vegas but has said he is open to playing guard as well.

He will be battling it out with Incognito, James, and Good for a starting spot in the interior.

There are several other offensive linemen on the roster who will be vying for places on the active roster and that includes 7th rounder Jimmy Morrissey and UDFA Devery Hamilton who is 6-7, 310lbs, and a grad transfer out of Duke. Hamilton is a potential diamond in the rough and could be a surprise candidate to make the final roster ahead of either Parker or Jones-Smith.

The Raiders trust Tom Cable to develop these young players and their goal of getting younger and cheaper while still maintaining an excellent level of play could be achieved.
