Las Vegas Raiders: 2021 Post-draft 53 man roster prediction

Linebackers: Cory Littleton, Nick Kwiatkoski, Nicholas Morrow, Tanner Muse, Divine Deablo, Javin White

Cory Littleton and Nick Kwiatkoski were both outplayed by Nicholas Morrow after signing big-money deals in the 2020 offseason but we can give them a mulligan for not having a real offseason to learn the defense. Morrow was the standout of the group and the Raiders rewarded him with a one-year, $5 million deal and a chance to prove he is worthy of a long-term deal.

Backing up that trio will be the safeties turned LBs Tanner Muse and Divine Deablo who both have similar stories as hybrid defensive players at the college level that can run like the wind. Deablo is reportedly a more fluid athlete than Muse but both will have the chance to prove they can play LB at the NFL level in 2021.

There are a few other names on the roster in Javin White, Asmar Bilal, James Onwualu, and Max Richardson who mostly project as practice squad players. White was active for four games last year but played just 12 snaps on defense so the jury is still out on him.

Maybe he does well enough to push Muse and Deablo but their pedigree as draft picks will likely see them win out unless the difference is dramatic.
