Three must-win games for the Las Vegas Raiders in 2021

Los Angeles Chargers, Week 4

The Raiders finished last season second in the AFC West and played some of their best football against their bitter rivals, the Kansas City Chiefs. In Week 5, the Raiders traveled into Arrowhead stadium to face a Kansas City team that they rarely see in the early part of the season, especially at Arrowhead.

The Raiders’ ground and aerial attack, led by Derek Carr, Henry Ruggs, Darren Waller, and Josh Jacobs teamed up with a rare bend but don’t break defense that was able to accumulate three sacks and an interception. That led to a rare road victory over the Chiefs.

This season, the Raiders face an up-and-coming team in the division looking to make a name for themselves, as the Chargers, led by reigning Rookie of the Year Justin Herbert will be a tall task for Gus Bradley, as he faces his former team. In Week 4 of the season, the Raiders make the familiar trip to Los Angeles, a city they called home for two decades to face the Chargers, as the Chargers open the doors to the stadium the rent from the Rams.

Last season, the Raiders split the season with the Chargers, winning one game in Los Angeles and losing the other at home in Vegas.
