The Las Vegas Raiders made moves to revamp the roster in 2021, but these three decisions could come back to haunt them this upcoming season.

The Las Vegas Raiders have spent the offseason revamping their roster, after once again faltering down the stretch last season. The 2021 team is going to be welcoming fans to Allegiant Stadium after an inaugural season that was hampered by the COVID-19 pandemic, so putting a winning product on the field is crucial.

So far this offseason, the Silver and Black have definitely added talent to the defense, using five draft picks on that side of the ball, and bringing in the likes of Yannick Ngakoue and Casey Hayward via free agency.  Those two players fill a major void on a defense that was one of the worst in football last season.

With a tough early-season schedule, Las Vegas is going to have to stack wins early on, something that they actually did last season. It was the late-season collapse that ruined their playoff chances, and hopefully, with all these new faces, they can make it back to the postseason for the first time since the 2016 campaign.

Here, we take a look at three decisions by Mike Mayock and Jon Gruden that could backfire in 2021.
