The Las Vegas Raiders played a daunting schedule of QBs last season, but in 2021, they play ten games against mid-level signal-callers.
The 2021 NFL schedule is a tough one for the Las Vegas Raiders, as it is widely considered one of the hardest in the league. They play on a short week four times, have trips East to play the New York Giants, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Cleveland Browns, and have some tough primetime matchups.
Still, looking at the teams they are playing, it is not the same gauntlet of elite starting quarterbacks that they played last season. During the 2020 NFL slate, the Silver and Black played the likes of Drew Brees, Tom Brady, Patrick Mahomes, and Philip Rivers, all of which should end up in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
In 2021, they play Mahomes again, as well as Justin Herbert, who looks like the real deal, but they really only play one other elite-level signal-caller, and that comes in Week 1. With a defense that is revamped heading into next season, with a new defensive coordinator, that could prove to be huge when all is said and done.
We start by looking at the elite signal-callers they will face in 2021.
