Las Vegas Raiders: Predictions for the 2021 NFL Draft class

Round 3, Pick 80- Divine Deablo-LB- Virginia Tech

Divine Deablo is a player that I am not sure what to expect from. I believe he is a player that could play a few different positions on the field, but will likely be used as a linebacker, behind Cory Littleton on the depth chart.

I believe Littleton will play much better with Gus Bradley as the defensive coordinator, so Deablo will likely play a limited amount of snaps unless there are injuries to starters. Deablo could also play safety, especially considering speed and coverage being his strongest attribute, but with all the safeties brought in this off-season, I don’t see that happening right away.

I have also seen Deablo predicted to play some nickel cornerback, but the Raiders have also made a lot of moves at that position over the last year. It is difficult to make a solid prediction for Deablo without knowing where he will line up on the field, but I would expect him to be a role player that fills in a bit everywhere but will mainly be a linebacker.
