Las Vegas Raiders: Predictions for the 2021 NFL Draft class

Round 7, Pick 230- Jimmy Morrissey- C- Pittsburgh

Center is one of the most questionable positions for the Raiders heading into the season, but Jimmy Morrissey will not be the answer. Being a seventh-round pick, Morrissey will be fighting for a roster spot and will have to compete with Andre James and Nick Martin.

The Raiders have a lot of questions on the offensive line, but they already have the depth they need at center. Unfortunately for Morrissey, I do not see him making the roster unless he shows some versatility to play other positions, as well.

Overall, this was a very interesting class for the Raiders, as they got guys that will fill voids on the roster, but also guys who will need to step up big time. There is reason to believe that the Raiders will be a playoff team this upcoming season, but they are going to need at least some of the players in this draft class to succeed in Year 1 if that is to happen.
