The Las Vegas Raiders enter the 2021 NFL season with the playoffs on their mind, but these three players could make their first Pro Bowl.

The Las Vegas Raiders are entering into their second season at Allegiant Stadium with the expectation of making the playoffs and with a major chip on their shoulders. After finishing 8-8 after a 6-3 start, the Raiders know that the time to win is now, and have set their sights on reaching the postseason for the first time since 2016.

After firing Paul Guenther mid-season in 2020 after a dismal campaign at defensive coordinator, Jon Gruden hired Gus Bradley who helped orchestrated the “Legion of Boom” and “Sacksonville” defenses. With the positive changes being made with the Raiders and a season of firsts, we take a look at three Raiders who can earn a selection for their first pro bowl.

Maxx Crosby, EDGE

When Maxx Crosby was drafted in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft, he immediately made a name for himself as a dominant pass rusher. In Maxx’s rookie season, he amassed ten sacks and 4 forced fumbles.

In 2020, Maxx played through a broken hand and torn shoulder throughout the season in which he totaled seven sacks. Coming into the season healthy and fully recovered, Crosby looks to return to form as one of the top pass rushers in the AFC West, and with the addition of Defensive Coordinator Gus Bradley and free agent edge, Yannick Ngakoue’s tutelage, Maxx should earn his first trip to the Pro Bowl this season.
