Las Vegas Raiders: 3 bold, early offensive predictions for 2021

No. 3: Josh Jacobs and Kenyan Drake both have over 1,000 all-purpose yards

Since being drafted in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft, Josh Jacobs has come into the NFL and become one of the better running backs in the league. A rare blend of speed and power, Jacobs has the ability to run over, or around defenders, and is actually a very good pass-catcher, despite not showing it so far in his pro career.

To keep him fresh, the Raiders added Kenyan Drake this offseason to the mix, and he is a guy who is going to take a lot of the pounding off of Jacobs this year. Drake is another guy who can be explosive in both the run, and passing game, and I believe that both players could have over 1,000 all-purpose yards this upcoming season.

Last year, Jacobs rushed for over 1,000 yards, and had over 200 yards receiving, while Drake had over 950 yards rushing and over 100 yards receiving. Drake was mostly the starter in Arizona, which won’t be the case in Las Vegas, but Gruden has already said he plans to make him very involved in the offense.

So there you have it, three bold predictions for the Raiders offense early in the 2021 offseason. As we inch closer to Week 1, we will take a look at these and see if some changes need to be made, but entering the summer months, there is a lot to be excited about this Raiders offense.
