Las Vegas Raiders: 3 players who cannot take a step backward

Kolton Miller

When Kolton Miller was drafted by the then-Oakland Raiders in the 2018 NFL Draft, it was met with a lot of raised eyebrows. Some felt that Miller was not even a first-round talent, and the offensive tackle spot was a position group where the team already had some veterans ready to start in 2018.

However, Miller was drafted, inserted into left tackle, and Donald Penn was moved to the right side. As a rookie, Miller struggled mightily, and for a while, it looked like both he, and offensive line coach Tom Cable would be run out of town before too long.

Well, since then, Miller has become a bright spot for the Raiders, earning the coveted second contract from the franchise, and becoming a star at left tackle. He is rounding into one of the more dominant, young offensive tackles in the game, and for the Raiders to be a playoff team, he needs to continue to develop and move in the right direction.
