Las Vegas Raiders: Updated 2021 53-man roster projection heading into the summer

Running Back (4): Josh Jacobs, Kenyan Drake, Jalen Richard, Alec Ingold

The running back room for the Raiders is going to be a special one this season, as they return one of the best young backs in the game in Josh Jacobs. This is a guy who has looked dominant since coming into the league two years ago, posting back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons, while earning his first Pro Bowl nod in 2020.

Behind him is a legitimate playmaker as well, as Kenyan Drake joins the Silver and Black to take some of the load off of Jacobs. Drake is a guy who can be a 1,000-yard all-purpose back in 2021, even as the backup, giving Jon Gruden another interesting weapon he can use at his disposal.

While Jalen Richard has been rumored to be out the door, even erasing the Raiders from his social media, he is still on the roster and should be in Week 1. Alec Ingold is one of the better young fullbacks in the NFL, and will once again be clearing holes for his best friend Jacobs entering his third season in the league as well.
