4 Raiders who could improve the most in 2021

Damon Arnette

A lot of Raiders fans love to give Damon Arnette a hard time because the cornerbacks recently drafted in the first round by the Raiders haven’t exactly worked out great. DJ Hayden and Gareon Conley were terrible in the Silver and Black, and the drafting of Arnette was seen as a reach as well.

But many fans fail to give him credit for actually playing pretty well in the first couple of games of the season while playing with a cast on one of his hands. However, he really struggled down the stretch and is someone who has a lot of eyes on him as he enters a crucial second season with Las Vegas.

With the extra time this offseason, he has bulked up quite a bit, and many people do tend to forget that Arnette was so impressive in training camp last year that the Raiders coaching staff cut Prince Amukamara, who was signed just earlier that offseason to let Arnette start.  Whether he is starting on the outside corner or the slot, he will be a starting corner this season, and a pretty good one too I believe.
