The Las Vegas Raiders added a bunch of talent this offseason, but they also lost three key players, and will miss these three departures the most.

The Las Vegas Raiders go into the summer months looking to finally put the right pieces in place to nail down a playoff spot. Despite having some solid talent on the roster in 2020, and barely missing out on the playoffs, the franchise felt it was best to continue to revamp the roster.

Some big names are gone, as are some big contracts, but in this piece, well look at three players from the 2020 roster that will be missed now that they are playing elsewhere this Fall.

Maurice Hurst

We kick off the list with Maurice Hurst, and while many in the fan base felt Hurst was not a big loss, I feel they will miss his presence on the inside. A fifth-round pick of the team in 2018, many felt Hurst was a first-round talent, and had he not had a heart issue detected during the combine, he would have likely gone a lot higher.

With the Raiders, he was never a dominant player, but he certainly had his moments, and was someone that could have been on the doorstep of becoming a Pro Bowler. Las Vegas revamped the defensive line in a big way in 2021, and took fliers on a bunch of players, but hopefully they did not mess up by releasing Hurst, who was quickly picked up by the San Francisco 49ers.

If all the new faces do not work out, this is going to be a big miss.
