Predicting the Las Vegas Raiders 2021 season game-by-game

Week 10 vs. Kansas City Chiefs (SNF)

After heading east for the Week 9 matchup against New York, the Raiders will return home and will welcome the hated Kansas City Chiefs to town. In their third AFC West game of the season, the Raiders do not show up against Kansas City, as Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs make quick work of them inside Allegiant Stadium.

Playing in primetime, Mahomes shows the world why he is the best quarterback in the NFL, and the Raiders defense really has no answer for him. The Chiefs win this game by two touchdowns, with the Raiders scoring one late, but still, above .500, the Raiders cannot afford to hang their head for too long.

Until they can beat Kansas City consistently, it will be impossible for the Silver and Black to overtake them in the AFC West. However, the hope here is that they can get some confidence going late in the game, as they stay home in Week 11 to welcome in Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals.

Prediction: Chiefs 38, Raiders 24
