Predicting the Las Vegas Raiders 2021 season game-by-game

Week 3 vs. Miami Dolphins

Going into this matchup with an 0-2 record, and playing in front of the home crowd, this game would be seen as a must-win for the Raiders. Last season, the Raiders seemingly were on their way to beating the Miami Dolphins at home, but Ryan Fitzpatrick relieved Tua Tagovailoa and led the Fins to a victory.

In 2021, Fitzpatrick will be playing for the Washington Football Team, so it will be Tua’s show, and Tua’s job to beat the Raiders on the road. I do not believe that will happen, as Tua is still getting his feet wet at the NFL level, and in front of a hostile Allegiant Stadium crowd, it will prove to be too much.

In this one, Derek Carr is going to throw for a ton of yards against this Miami defense, and Josh Jacobs is going to find the end zone twice. The defense is going to bend, which will likely be a theme all season long, but in the end, the Raiders give the Allegiant faithful their first win with them in the stands.

Prediction: Raiders 30, Dolphins 24
