Who could be scapegoats for this year’s Las Vegas Raiders if things don’t go according to plan during the 2021 NFL season?

The 2021 NFL season will feel a lot more normal, as fans are allowed back into stadiums, and the country continues to try and turn the corner from the COVID-19 pandemic. For the Las Vegas Raiders, the goal is still the same no matter if fans are in the building or not, and that is getting to the playoffs.

To do so, the Silver and Black need to piece two halves of the NFL season together, as they have gotten out to fast starts the last two seasons and faltered down the stretch. In 2020, much of the issue had to deal with the defense, which racked up only 21 sacks as a team, and really struggled in the secondary.

To make up for this, the Raiders brought in a bunch of new faces in free agency, and really tried to focus on the defense in the 2021 NFL Draft. All the moves will give this roster a new feel heading into the summer months, where players will look to not only make the roster but lock down some very available starting jobs.

It will have to be all hands on deck to secure a playoff spot in 2021, and with this in mind, here are four Raiders players who could become scapegoats if things don’t work out.
