Las Vegas Raiders: 3 veteran newcomers who could be cut before Week 1

Rasul Douglas, CB

We now shift our focus to the defensive backfield, where the Raiders have some serious question marks at cornerback. Trayvon Mullen will return in his CB1 role, and Casey Hayward is going to make this team, likely as a starter, but beyond that, there are plenty of players who need a big summer.

Damon Arnette is going to make the team, as he was a first-round pick in 2020, and Amik Robertson, Isaiah Johnson, and rookie Nate Hobbs have an inside track to make the team. However, in terms of new faces, Rasul Douglas needs a big summer, especially if Bradley can get the young guys moving in the right direction.

This is certain to be an interesting summer, as there is more talent on the roster going in than there has been in quite some time. The Raiders are looking to finally get back to the playoffs, and no matter if it is a rookie or a veteran, Gruden and company is only going to keep the players they feel can help them win in 2021.
