The Las Vegas Raiders are looking for players to step up in 2021, and here are three who could be a pleasant surprise for the Silver and Black.

The year 2020 was not a year to remember for the Las Vegas Raiders, with a season that opened with so much promise, it ended up turning into a mediocre season with more heartbreaks than success. Head coach Jon Gruden has improved his record from the previous year every season so far, but the one game improvement to finish 8-8 last year was not impressive to Raider Nation.

Fingers have been pointed in nearly all directions at what or who was the biggest issue on this Raiders coaching staff or roster. With the second-half meltdown, the Raiders missed out on the playoffs again, which has now become a regularity in the NFL.

Nevertheless, there are some players on this roster that many feel will make significant strides for the 2021 season. Las Vegas has had some incredible draft capital leading up to the 2021 NFL season, and some of those high-round picks will need to step up if the franchise is to take the next step.

With the disappointing 2020 season now behind us, let’s take a look at a few players who could pleasantly surprise us all with breakout seasons in 2021.
