Las Vegas Raiders: 4 possible first-time All-Pros in 2021

Darren Waller

I might be eating my words here saying Ngakoue might have the highest chances of reaching an All-Pro team this year. Especially when looking at the 2020 season of the 28-year-old tight end out of Georgia Tech.

Darren Waller was indeed quite the “baller” in 2020, as he was 10th in yards and receiving touchdowns among receivers, and his 107 receptions were fourth among all receivers. It also broke the team record set by Hall of Fame receiver Tim Brown. He even managed to snag two more balls than first-team All-Pro tight end Travis Kelce.

The NFL described the second-team All-Pro position of the tight end being left vacant as a “voting issue”, whatever the case may be, Waller surely did more than enough to earn a spot on an All-Pro team. With a young core of receivers, Waller will surely be the main target again this season for quarterback Derek Carr, and it should not be a case of how Waller makes an All-Pro team, but when.

The converted former wide receiver should make a strong case for an All-Pro team this season and beyond.
