Raiders roster: 2021 Post-minicamp 53-man roster prediction

Offensive Line

  • T: Kolton Miller, Alex Leatherwood, Brandon Parker
  • G: Denzelle Good, Richie Incognito, John Simpson
  • C: Andre James, Nick Martin

Let’s start by addressing the elephant in the room. Alex Leatherwood and Andre James are two unproven offensive linemen who are being given majors roles in 2021, and if they fail to produce then they could derail the entire season. Even though these two guys are unproven, have faith.

Leatherwood is a rookie with a lot of promise and versatility, and James will have help on either side of him if he gets into any trouble.

Everyone else on the line has started for the team in the past or has taken enough snaps in-game to give them the experience needed to play. Denzelle Good has a lot of talent and power and should be able to handle a starting role for a full season. Kolton Miller has only gotten better with each season.

Finally, Richie Incognito just needs to stay healthy and potentially take on a bigger leadership role now that Rodney Hudson is gone.

As for the backups, they could all potentially see some playing time if someone gets hurt or if someone is playing up to par. Brandon Parker improved a lot last year and John Simpson is a guy that the coaching staff is really high on. Veteran Nick Martin is an experienced player on the line who can fill in at guard or center.
