Raiders roster: 2021 Post-minicamp 53-man roster prediction

Linebacker

  • SLB: Nick Morrow
  • MLB: Nick Kwiatkowski, Darron Lee, Tanner Muse
  • WLB: Cory Littleton, Divine Deablo

The top-3 linebackers will remain the same, but will likely be used differently. Look for Nicholas Morrow’s role to be expanded after his breakout season last year. Nick Kwiatkowski is a good run stopper and signal-caller in the middle of the field, who does a good job of communicating with the defense as he sees a play unfold.

Cory Littleton will hopefully return to the same level of talent that he was at before coming to Las Vegas. If he does, then his skills in pass coverage will be of tremendous value to the team.

Newcomer Darron Lee will be a good veteran presence that’s worked in on certain packages and to give the starters the occasional rep off. Rookie draft pick Divine Deablo will be experimented with as the season goes on.

As for Tanner Muse, he will mostly see the field on special teams, which is where he shines the most. If he does play on the defense, it will likely be when someone needs to take a rep off or when multiple linebackers are in use.
