Raiders roster: 2021 Post-minicamp 53-man roster prediction

Defensive Tackle

  • Johnathan Hankins, Quinton Jefferson, Solomon Thomas, Darius Stills

Johnathan Hankins, who was one of the best defensive players for Vegas last season, is returning for 2021. He’ll likely be paired with Quinton Jefferson, who will play a lot of nose tackle for the team.

Also, he could potentially be paired with Ferrell if and when he is moved inside.

Solomon Thomas is a low-risk, high-reward player, as he is a former top-5 draft pick who is still very young, and has the physical attributes to be a special player in this league. If he doesn’t work out, then it’s not a big deal, as the Raiders do not have much invested in him.

But, if he can play with the same energy and effectiveness that he did in college, then Las Vegas has a really solid player on the defensive line. Undrafted free agent Darius Stills has also been said to have made a really great impression after a tremendous career at West Virginia. It will be exciting to see the player he develops into if he makes the roster.
