Foster Moreau gives Las Vegas Raiders incredible depth at tight end

The Las Vegas Raiders have a dynamic tandem at tight end in Foster Moreau and Darren Waller, giving the team incredible depth at the position.
We all know about Darren Waller, the dynamic tight end for the Las Vegas Raiders who was inexplicably left off Pro Football Focus’s list of the top-50 players in the NFL. In fact, Waller could be the second-best tight end in all of football, and there are some out there who feel he could be even more productive than Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs this season.
While that remains to be seen, the fact is, Waller is special and has been since putting on the Silver and Black. He has gone from a practice squad player for the Baltimore Ravens, to an All-Pro talent for the Raiders, and he leads a position group that is one of the best in football heading into the 2021 NFL season.
With Waller at the top of the depth chart, the Raiders also have a solid young talent in Foster Moreau, who has had a strange journey since being a fourth-round pick of the Raiders in 2019. He showed flashes as a rookie, but saw his season end in injury, and then sat behind Jason Witten during Year 2.
In 2021, that is going to change, and the Waller-Moreau duo could be one of the best in football.
Raiders are deep at tight end in 2021
Looking at the position group as a whole, there is even talent behind Moreau, as Derek Carrier is as solid a No. 3 tight end as there is in football. Another player to keep an eye on at the position is Matt Bushman, an undrafted free agent signing who got off to a late start to his collegiate career after serving a Mormon mission but became a star for quarterback Zach Wilson at BYU.
With his size and catch radius, there is a good chance he makes the roster as well in 2021.
Overall, losing Witten is only going to make this position group better, as a healthy Moreau is a much better player than him at this point. This is a position group that will be one of the best in the NFL this upcoming season, especially if Waller continues on this incredible trajectory in the Silver and Black.
