Raiders roster: 3 new players who could be one-and-done in 2021

The defensive tackle spot will look a lot different this upcoming season, as Maurice Hurst is gone, and the team has brought in a bunch of new faces. This offseason, Quinton Jefferson, Solomon Thomas, Darius Philon, and Darius Stills are a few of the new players battling it out for playing time alongside Johnathan Hankins, who has earned a starting role with the Silver and Black.

While most believe that Jefferson is the favorite to start alongside Hankins, Thomas is a guy who is a former top-5 pick, and there is a ton of potential there to be great. He has yet to hit his stride at the NFL level, but a change of scenery sometimes works wonders for players, and Las Vegas brings a new opportunity for him.

If Thomas is the player the 49ers thought he was when they picked him early in the 2017 NFL Draft, the Raiders got a steal, but if he is not, it will be one-and-done for him in Vegas. He signed on a one-year contract to come to the Raiders, so it is definitely put up, or be shown the door for Thomas in Las Vegas in 2021.
