John Simpson, OG

The Las Vegas Raiders will have plenty of new faces starting for them upfront along the offensive line in 2021, as the team traded away Trent Brown, Rodney Hudson, and Gabe Jackson this offseason. With Jackson leaving for Seattle, the Raiders will start Denzelle Good and Richie Incognito at the offensive guard spots, but that could just be a one-year plan for the franchise.

Next season, depending on how he plays, Incognito could be gone, as he will be entering free agency, and the Raiders could decide it is time to roll with John Simpson, a fourth-round pick back in 2019. This is a guy who won two national titles in college and was a consensus All-American, and after two years as a reserve, it could be time for him to step into a starting role in Year 4.

It will be interesting to see how the 2021 campaign plays out for all four of these players, as the expectation is for Edwards to compete for a starting role. However, I believe these four will start the 2021 season outside of the starting lineup but should be starters by the time Week 1 rolls around in 2022.
