Plenty of Las Vegas Raiders are slated to hit free agency after the 2021 season, and these five will be crucial to the team’s success this Fall.

After failing to make the playoffs once again in 2020, there was no doubt that Mike Mayock and Jon Gruden were going to make wholesale changes with the Las Vegas Raiders. They did just that, bringing in a ton of new faces via free agency and the NFL Draft, and they will be expected to come in and help get this team back to the playoffs for the first time since 2016.

With that said, here are five pending free agents who must play at a high level for the team to make the playoffs in 2021.

John Brown, WR

No big shock here, as the Raiders needed to bring in some veteran talent to pair with two young and explosive players in Henry Ruggs III and Bryan Edwards. After losing Nelson Agholor to the New England Patriots, the Raiders went out and got John Brown, who will don the No. 15, a favorite target of quarterback Derek Carr.

We still do not know what we are going to get out of Ruggs and Edwards, and while the hope is they take off in Year 2, Gruden and company could not leave that up to chance. Brown is a solid veteran, and if he can come in and give the Raiders close to the production Agholor did, the team should be in a good spot at the wideout position in 2021.
